I have been fighting a loosing battle with puscular psoriasis for 40 + years. It now is over my entire foot. I have tried everything that the doctors have recommended to no avail. They tell me also to avoid stress. This is very hard to do when I live with a very stressful condition, itching constantly. Does anyone have any suggestions for relief? I have inserted pictures. Could it be something other than psoriasis?

Hi Sherryren, perhaps you have eliminated this, but the first thing that came into my mind is that it could be diabetes or circulation related. Diabetes can encourage the growth many types of rashes http://www.diabetes.org/type-1-diabetes/skin-complications.jsp
I don't have a remedy, but if it were me, I would try to see if an alkalizing (low sugar) diet to get my pancreas to function better and systemic pancreatin enzymes helped. You may want to also consider taking vitamin B6, B12, folic acid, and trimethylglycine (TMG or betaine) to block homocysteine and thereby improve cardiovascular health. Coconut oil also heals all kinds of skin ailments. Just my non-doctor thoughts. |

Yeowch!
All of Dan's suggestions may help. I did not have what you have but did have some kind of a rash on my shins that would not go away for about 4 years. Though I bought it originally to try and fight my skin cancers, I used it on my shins and in a few weeks I was cleared up permanently.
It's called Chickweed healing salve and here's the link.. http://www.chickweedhealingsalve.com/ It's $20 and includes shipping.
I bought a different version recently "unkers"( I use this stuff in lieu of things like neosporin)and it was not as thick and also had what appeared to be actual residue of chickweed in the bottom. I recommend the original..
Good Luck! |

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU FOR THE WEBSITE. I have studied it extensively. I recently began to treat the area with ammonia. It burn't so bad that the top layer of skin totally came off. I continued with the ammonia for 18 days now along with a salve of vitamin D. I now have a layer of skin that is not peeling or itchy. Although the area is red, it is not swollen nor uncomfortable. I have eliminated sugar from my diet for 9 days and honestly I do feel sooooo very much better. I am going to continue the ammonia treatments as I see such a significant improvement for now. I also am reading my ph level daily and increase the alkeline level to a safe zone. ( I was so very acid I couldn't even get a reading when I first started) Now I am between 7.0 to 7.25 for the last 3 days. I feel this has acid condition has added to the psoriasis. I am not overweight ( 136 and 5'6" ) but My weight dropped 5 pounds in 1 week.I have also increased the suggested vitamins and minerals
Before I started to watch my ph level my urine was very strong smelling and dark yellow, already it is clear and I don't notice a smell. Althogh I urinate often, I think this may also attribute to the healing.
Thanks for all of your concerns and the emails I have received. I sure hope I beat this thing called Poriasis. Here are photo's after 18 days of treatment. I hope you also see a difference. It sure feels alot better.

| Sherryren, thanks for the feedback, this is a great result! The difference in the before and after pictures is obvious and amazing. I don't know how you picked ammonia but what an apparently good choice for puscular psoriasis. Can you describe the method you used to measure your pH? Was it a saliva test? Anyway, for those who have never measured and tried to alter their pH as Sherryren has done, it really can be easy. Also I find that once the pH is adjusted and you are aware of your pH, it is extremely easy to maintain a good range. Maintaining a good pH is far easier than say going on a diet and trying to be good all he time. |

Dan,
I measure my ph with urine in the morning and in the evening. When I found myself so very acidic I took 2 tsp of "Just Barley" powder mixed with juice both morning and evening, (Just Barley is found at the health food store) It took 6 days of taking the Just Barley and no sugar in my diet to bring my ph up into a safe zone. I am sold on watching the ph level now. There is such an improvement with my foot, although still red, I HAVE SKIN.... No Scales at all. I will take more pictures at a later date. Thanks Again !!!!!! |
