I am not effected by poison oak or poison ivy. Being as a lot of the friends I grew up with were allergic and none seem to have the Ak's and BCC's like me, I was curious if generally people who are predisposed to non melanoma skin cancer share this non allergic trait I have.

So......Have you ever had a poison oak or poison ivy allergic reaction?

Interesting thought on allergic reactions... it's something I have pondered as well. I have no allergies, period. I have often thought my body is too accomodating to everything... good and bad. I am fortunate in that I rarely ever get sick, but while my immune system has been great for most things it has been less than stellar when it comes to my skin. Most notably, I have struggled with skin fungal infections my whole life.

I, thank GOD have never had any problem with allergies. I could take poison ivy and crumble the leaves in my hands, nothing. My brother, GOD rest his soul, could think "poison ivy" and get a rash. I do however have several non-melanoma skin cancer lesions. I have, in my opinion, cured all of them with topical application of cannabis oil. 9 to date.
