My dermatologist prescribed Solaraze for my actinic keratosis. I have been using the gel for a couple of weeks now. I have developed a horrible rash that is extremely itchy, it almost looks like I have a bad case of poison ivy. I only had a few spots that should have needed treatment now I cant even see them for all of the additional bumps that have developed. I am also schedule for Mohs surgery to remove basal cell from my neck and Im terrified! |

Hey Peach,
Talk to your derm. I assume what is happening with the rash is normal and will clear up after the Solaraze has done it's work. In regards to the BCC though there are other ways to do this alternatively but medically Mohs is a good way to "Get it all" kind of, sort of. There are no guarantees with any treatments to date.
There are a lot of us here that have knocked out various skin cancers with a very wide spectrum of approaches. Go through the threads post or e-mail people when you have a question.. Chill on the worry, generally Basal Cell is @ 99+% of the time not something that is going to kill you.
