Posted - 02/22/2012 : 16:25:10 Diagnosed with advanced/metastatic basal cell carcinoma? If so, it might be because you were never diagnosed in the first place or you were diagnosed but didn't think treatment was right for you. Or maybe you did try treatment, and it was unsuccessful and the BCC kept coming back?

Posted - 11/12/2017 : 16:30:06 Mine advanced initially because I did not have insurance and could not afford a biopsy to confirm the type of skin cancer, much less the surgery to treat it.
I did not know that BCC could metastasize from skin to muscle and bone until it was too late.
