This is my first post. I have a history of AK's (used carac on face 2 years ago) and had a BCC removed from forehead. Was scratching around navel area thought it was just dried skin, been that way for awhile, never really paid any attention to it, so got out some hydrogen peroxide and soaked it real good and turned real white. After looking at it real good it looks cancerous hopefully just actinic keratosis. I've also had a ringworm in the groin area last year. Could that possibly have been spread to navel. I can see like clusters of red lines around the sore and around the navel forming like a jigsaw puzzle piece. I've noticed these clusters of red lines looking like jigsaw puzzle pieces on my face and shoulders and arms where i have sundamage. Are these just dormant AK's. Has anybody had anything in there navel area. Wondering if anyone has had success treating with apple cider vinegar or hydrogen peroxide in this area. The peroxide really lit it up gonna let it heal up and check with the derm next month. Another question i have do squameous cancer come directly from an untreated actinic keratosis first or can a skin cancer come out as squameous first.

Seen the derm today said it was just a yeast infection. I'll take that any day over cancer. Be sure you guys dry out navel good after bathing.

Thanks michd1971, I am glad it was not cancer. A lot of us have had trouble with persistent fungus and yeast infections so I hope that heals well. I think reducing sugar consumption is especially important to good health and should help reduce the risk of fungus and yeast infections as well as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and arthritis.
